You'd be hitting my cross & seeing your own crest as well. Think of it ... it would be like you hitting yourself & that would make you feel so bad inside. I will resolve this conflict for you on the field & hit you while you self-reflect over this issue of self-guilt. :) Hope you don't have a big lunch before our 'bout. I will not have chunks on my battleground. Blood is completely acceptable (as long as it is yours).  ;D

And I will be targeting the most pertruding part of your anatomy should it present itself to my skillful hand. ;) LOL Your whole body is a target for my blade, Lord Chagatai. I would not center my attention on a shiny thing meant to distract your focus. :P

That's pretty cool looking. Are you getting it for looks, combat, or both lol.

Both as it is practical. I love the look & it is thick enough for SCA combat standards as well. Could be worn with both my own persona & any Crusader era genre.

If I were to get it, I'd pop that little cross in the front off. Feels like a bit much to me. Otherwise, I think it would be a cool piece to have. But methinks that the little cross is your favorite part. It would be very unique on the battle field, which is something I prize when designing my kit. So that my image is remembered.

That looks waaaaay overdone. Can't say I've seen a period source with that style of ornamentation. I'd stay away and invest in something a bit more plausible.

It was more esthetic I was looking at than historic. It would be a good look for me.

Unless you're doing a living history impression, if you've got the cash- go for it.  Nothing like being able to acquire the little pleasures- have fun man.

The cross on the cross with the cross breath holes makes me want to make an Xzibit "Yo dawg, we heard you like crosses, so we crossed your crosses so you can cross while you cross" but I'm feeling lazy. :D

Personally I'd remove the brass cross, but that dark steel on lighter steel really pops for me. It's pretty cool. I say go for it.

That is one cool looking helmet. I would use it.
