RenFaires 2014 Season

<< < (3/25) > >>

Sir Matthew:
I'll likely be getting a season pass to PaRF and will be there most weekends when my reenacting unit isn't doing events. I have decided to forgo my Henrician kit till the spring, so I will be an abomination. I will be using this as an opportunity to bring out some kits I don't showcase as much like my Border Reiver kit and some kits I'm still working on, like my Ironsides ECW kit. Of course, my Pikeman and Musketeer kits will also blend in. I'm hopefull to make MdRF, but alas the weekend I was shooting for we have scheduled an event, so that may not happen again this season.

Frater de Beaumanoir:
Surprise!  I would like to extend the invitation to the Ren-Deus-Vult event to be held the first weekend in August at the Bristol Renaissance Festival. For anyone who wants to adopt a "Habit" (the attire of a medieval warrior monk of the Crusading period: 1099-1565), or in my case can't kick one, Crusaders from all around will be gathering for the weekend. It used to be held at Fishers in Indiana, but now we're roaming and trying to reach out to others.

See you there! To not attend would be a sin.  :P :D ;)

That's the weekend of August 2-3? I have another event that weekend, unfortunately. Otherwise, it would be great to make it out to one of these.

Frater de Beaumanoir:
You make me sad.....so be it......come Patsy...... :P

There's rumor that a larger than normal contingent of Teutonic Brethren will be on hand.

Safe travels all the same.

Lord Dane:
Isn't Bristol Ren-Faire the sister one of the NY Ren-Faire?? I believe it is. Too bad I'll be in PA Ren-Faire then.
