RenFaires 2014 Season
Sir Douglas:
Thought one of these threads might be useful since the summer/fall season’s starting soon.
For what it’s worth, the Great Lakes Medieval Fest starts up next weekend. Not sure yet which weekend I’m going to try to make it out there; possibly first or second weekend. I realize I’m kind of the only one who’s relatively close to it, but just putting it out there anyway. :)
I also plan on hitting at least PARF and the Pittsburgh Faire again this year. MDRF is a big maybe.
Feel free to add and expand on this, gents.
Sir Patrick:
I'll be hitting the Kansas City Ren Faire at some point. It runs from August 30th through October 13th. Pretty good sized faire.

Sir Edward:
We are usually at MDRF most weekends. I usually make it there for about 15 out of the 19 days. Of course, if we do Days of Knights, there's a weekend I certainly won't be around.
I don't make it to PARF every year, but sometimes I plan on going on the opening weekend, since it usually opens the weekend before MDRF does. But later in the season can also be more appealing, since August on a paved faire site can make for some unappealing temperatures.
Lord Dane:
Well I can certainly add to this listing:
July 19, 20: Hammond Castle (www.hammondcastle.org) Medieval Faire - Gloucestor, MA. (Definitely going)
Aug. 2-Sept 21: New York Ren-Faire (www.nyrenfaire.com) - Tuxedo Park, NY. (Absolutely going - My favorite)
Aug. 2-Oct. 26: Pennsylvania Ren-Faire (At least one weekend for certain)
Aug. 23-Oct. 19: Maryland Ren-Faire (Depending on Order attendance schedule)
Aug. 30-Oct. 19: King Richard's Faire (www.kingrichardsfaire.net) - Carver, MA. (A must just for convenience - My usual faire)
Sir James A:
PARF the first weekend of Aug
DoK the second weekend of Oct
MDRF at least 1 or 2 weekends if I can (pending DoK)
