Sir Edward,
I take it that from Sir Wolfs post that you are after a Coat of Plates.
During my search for COPs I have chanced upon a couple of links that may interest you.

http://www.historicsupplies.co.uk/Paddedarmour.html

These are very nice if not a little pricey;

There are a couple of sellers on E-bay that might be worth a look;

If you don`t mind me asking, are you after a COP for re-enacting a specific period?

Hope you find these usefull.

Hi there! Thanks for the links! I'll certainly look those over as I consider some options. Yes, I'm aiming for about 1280-1320, roughly, for this kit below:

I'm located in the US, so shipping and exchange rates have to be considered with regards to European armourers.

Sir Ed,
    I am working on a Teutonic theme aimed for 1330-1350.  I'm planning mail with banded armor worn over it on the legs, arms and chest/back.  I'm working with Red Falcon Armoury on the mail and banded armor.  Good luck on the coat of plates.

Sir Ed,
For that period you are definitely looking for something not later than a Wisby style COP aren`t you.  ;)

These are much the same as the ones that we use at the moment. I can highly recommend them as a light, flexible but very effective body armour.  ;D

Very nice indeed. The first link you showed (http://www.historicsupplies.co.uk/Paddedarmour.html) has one labeled as c.1290, with the long surcoat tails. This is the general style I'm leaning towards.

Yes very nice, and the long surcoat tails under your linen surcoat may afford you a little extra leg protection too.  ;)
