"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

Nice! :) I still don't own any Del Tins. I may correct that at some point, but I've bought way too many swords recently.

Nice! A long time ago, that used to be my favorite longsword. My tastes have changed quite a bit, but I still like the design a lot.

The original on which it was based is a Victorian forgery, but its believed that the forgery may have been based on a late 15th century piece.

Windlass had a version. It wasn't a terrible sword, but it had nickle plated fittings, and had the usual Windlass "charms". (loosening of hilt, softer steel, etc.)

Got mine from Kult of Athena.  Ryan has not posted it on the web-site yet.  When I first heard they were going to carry some of the Del-Tin line, I've been hounding Ryan about this particular model, so he only got 1 in on his last shipment & set it aside for me.

Handles great!

a better pic

Yeah, I like KoA. If/when I order a Del Tin, it'll likely be from them.

Great pic! Looks like a nice sword!
