Welcome! I am new to the SCA and am making a 14th century kit for CotT too! Check out my thread on the armory for the great feedback given to me as I figure out what type of armor to have commissioned. It is great fun to learn more about armor and how it is built and what is appropriate for the centuries etc...
I will have to check that one out, I once again have 24hr duty second time this month
