"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

The well-dressed gentlemen should always have a nice suit.

The well-dressed knight should always have a nice suit.

Now you can have both at once!

Pretty cool!

Very stylish
I recall seeing a suit of armor, where the leggings were made out to look like the pants of the day.
Ill look for the pic, it would have been 16th or 17th century

<Insert obligatory "Sharp Dressed Man" reference here>

It took me a second to figure out if that was a suit made to look like armor, or armor made to look like a suit. But since it's armor first, suit second, I'd wear it. ;)
Per pale azure and argent, an eagle displayed per pale argent and sable, armed and langued or.

So a Norman, a Saxon, and a Viking walk into England....

I just saw a movie with a guy, the bad guy, had a full harness and one of those armored skirts- first time I ever recalled seeing that particular style in a movie.  Didn't look half bad either, for a low budget medieval schlockfest whose name escapes me just now.
