Public Service Announcement:
It has been close to 5 months since I was able to last put on armor due to a work injury. Post Concussive Syndrome is ugly, nasty, and painful.

It's the off season so check your helm padding my lads!
Fall down seven, get up eight.

Yeah I got ACH pads for my helm and might wear a padded coif if I can fit it! Now just waiting for the helmet to be finished and sent!

Good PSA.  I'm thinking of reworking my historically accurate but modern materials bascinet liner.  I'd like to replace it with a linen shell stuffed with shredded bamboo batting.  I've heard that it transmits heat nicely and naturally cuts down on "helmet funk".

Where are you sourcing your bamboo batting?  What kind of pricing can I expect?

It is a blend that was recommending to me...the bamboo wicks the moisture away and has antibacterial properties and the cotton has the right amount of fluff..so far my wife says it has been awesome for machine quilting...
