what if we all got together and walked all the way from baltimore to the M.D. renfaire
still wouldn't be as far.

I'm not walking to Maryland from Reno.

 ;)

MD Renn Faire is in Crownsville, MD, about 20 miles from Baltimore. Or there's some kind of local "M.D. renfaire" in Reno?

I think he was just making a joke Sir James

Ah, then I guess he misread, Nate said walk "from Baltimore to the M.D. renfaire", which is only ~20 miles. Not to walk there from home. Or I'm completely lost. :)

As somebody with a suit of armor a bit over 70 pounds .. and somebody who can't walk 60 miles *without* armor (heck I can't even walk 6 miles!)... that man's accomplishment is phenomenal to me. Walking in armor 10 miles for 6 days in a row is pretty wild.

Don't join the Army or Marine Corps then! ;-)

They'd never take me. :D

Humping 60 lbs for 10 miles is kind of a ‘cake walk’ for a grunt. One of the requirements for the Expert Field Medic Badge was to do a forced road march with the standard fighting load (48 – 60 lbs. plus an 8 lbs aid bag) within 3 hours which most candidates ran half the distance for bragging rights for getting the best finish time. As for me that was 30 years ago and my feet still haven’t forgiven me! ;)
