Looking pretty sharp!

Sir Ulrich's kit is so nice to see in person that I now am convinced to take up 13th century living history/reenactment. That DT5143 of mine (sword Sir Ulrich is holding in the photos) certainly goes well with either a 13th or a 14th century kit.

Welcome to the forums, good sir!

Ulrich - your kit looks fantastic; all that hard work certainly paid off...I find myself inspired, my friend.  Who made your surcoat?  I'ts a beaut!

Badass Garb made it, same people who made my gambeson and padded legs. They got a bit muddy and I'm unsure how to clean them. I might get another surcoat this time a teutonic knight one because I MUCH prefer the fitted look to the baggy one.

Sir Wolf:
what are they made from?
if there wool just brush them off and the mud will come off. or if you must wash them, wash in cold and then let them air dry on a line or lay them on the porch rail. do not wash on warm or hot cause they will shrink. and don't put in the dryer unless you know what your doing lol

Sir Ulrich:
She told me they were machine washable, I just need to clean the bottom though theres a bit of mud on them from walking through that faire. I'm still not sure if I should wash my gambeson, worried it might lower the durability or something, my mom keeps nagging at me to wash it but I think it might make it less durable...
