I saw that on the archive, that is awesome!  That's a 'great' bascinet, oh I crack myself up!  But seriously, that really is a wonderful reproduction of a neglected style of bascinet.

Smooth bascinet visors like that are more of an early 15th century thing, like Agincourt era, 1415ish
