Neat pic! That's technically not a flamberge - flamberge meaning "flame blade", the wavy style. The size and hilt hardware looks appropriate, but different blade style. Still a very nice looking piece.

Sir James,

you're right!  At first I thought that was an earlier pic of that weapon before he made it a flamberge.  Turns out it was a rebated greatsword designed for BOTN competition. Both are absolutely gorgeous!
pic of the first one I posted all complete

pic of the flamberge edge as a WIP

pic of the flamberge all completed

both are gorgeous and really get me excited to work with him.

Wow, yes, both of those did come out nice. I didn't mean to criticize on terms, just clarify. :)

Looking forward to seeing your sword when it's done!

Sir James.  I totally understood where you were coming from and why.  No harm and no foul, it allowed us to have more medieval pron posted on the forums!  ;D

I totally understand Sir James!  ;D Hence why I don't mind advertising somebody's work whom I think would appreciate the gesture, even though none of the pics are mine.

I just wish I could take my own photos of my projects, but yeah, finding the camera has become a bit FUBAR
