That is a shame. I never even got to visit. At least if they can keep what has been built from decaying until a new buyer or financial partner shows up there is still a cchancce it migght reopen. :-(

Just to re-iterate Bradamante`s suggestion for Marle, I have taken part in one of their medieval festivals. It really is a fantastic site.

Unfortunately I have yet to visit Guedelon.

If you manage to get to Blighty ( South Wales to be exact) besides all the wonderfull castles, Cosmeston medieval village is always worth a visit too.
