FS: Brass trimmed spaulders by James River Armory

Have for sale a set of brass trimmed spaulders by James River Armory. The buckles are "figure 8" buckles by Valentine Armories. Leather tabs at the top for pointing; they could be swapped out for buckles. Articulation is triple leathers; works well enough to wear (I wore them at my knighting ceremony) but a truly "proper" set would have two leathers and one slot riveted.

As with most of my armor sales motivation - I replaced them with an upgraded set from Allan. :)

$50 + S&H (or $50 locally of course). They'll fit in a flat rate box for $13, so, $63 shipped if necessary.

Couple pictures:

Those look familiar...you've worn these to VARF before, Sir James?

I wore them at my knighting ceremony last November, as part of my 14th century brass-trimmed kit. Other than that, only around the house sporadically. :) It's currently in misc parts on the workbench, undergoing a few upgrades. ;)

BTW, had somebody on Armour Archive ask to hold them til friday.

If the steel were somehow "blackened" Sir James (hint, hint), I see those nice brass trimmed spaulders going nicely on my new breast plate & making you an offer. :) :)

A guy on AA asked for my PayPal and is supposed to be sending money tonight. If that doesn't pan out, I'll let you know. :)
