someone buy this so i can buy it off them later hehehehe. it would need to be a tad bigger to fit me, but he says he can supply more scales and i know they guy that sold him the scales so u can buy more if needed online. man what a great price and nice piece! i've always wanted one... sigh no cash no cash  :'(

Sir Wolf, have you perused some of the lamellar jobs that
Armstreet has? They're a little pricey, but nice to check out
for ideas, etc.

ya i have seen them, shipping is a bust though!  i know of a place that had antiqued brass lamallar scales that had a nice center ridge in it. think calador trim was the place. if i see them at the SCA winters faire again i will be buying enough to make a suit. it was too nice not to get.  heres a suit a guy i know made from the same scales i want: http://sports.webshots.com/photo/2101643830048832893EXmkUx

Yeah, shipping from the Ukraine is definitely a killer...Calador always seems to have awesome
fabric trim as well. I believe I purchased my fabric belt from them as well as my half-gauntlets
about 4 years ago at a Baronial B-day in S.C.
