You forgot toiletries. LOL

You mean leaves? Perhaps ... shrubbery??

That does raise a good question on DoK specifically - they'll have port-a-potties, but I'm not sure if we supply our own wipin' papers. Thanks!

hammer to put in the stakes.

Not 100% sure why, but I had it in there with the furniture rubber mallet.

FURNITURE
Rubber Mallet (for tapping in pegs / wedges)
 Steel hammer (for setting stakes)

Food.
Drink.
Snacks.
Water.
Ice.

Hidden (stealth) cooler.

Ah! I completely forgot to put chests on there. I have a hidden cooler inside one of the chests. Ice, drinks, etc, I planned to pick up at the store on location, but I'll add it to the list. Thanks!

How could I have missed those? :)

Ah, quite a few things I missed! Updating the first post now, thanks!

edit: for DoK specifically, they said to not bring our own toilet paper - the tp in the port-a-johns is a special kind that breaks down and won't clog the cleaning

Brethren, they are truly extensive lists, I really have not the time to draw up my list, now a days it all just stays in it`s respective chests and bags and ends up in a massive pile in the spare room ( Lady Joanna is soooo understanding  ;) ).
After saying that I do tend to go through it all a few days before each event to remove/add items to suit any particular event.
I must admit it is getting to a stage where I really need a van  ::)

i remember the days of events I'd have a long list of what i was bringing etc. now i do lh events and I'm like, what can i leave at home and not carry lol. sometimes i bring a wool blanket and sleep in a ditch instead of a tent with a cot and furniture. just for the simplicity lol

Updated the first post with some stuff I've got packed from previous events. I'll update again if I pack anything else in the next week (preparing for Days of Knights).

I have greatly considered going on a medieval camping trip sometime. Obviously not all of this stuff will be used. Do you know of alternative stuff that would be used for camping in the wilderness?

My historical camping equipment consists of two canvas shelter halves, two wool blankets, and one gummed canvas ground cloth. That's it.
