Sir Brian:
Well on Monday it finally happened after five years I was turned away from the gate with my Maryland Special longsword. The security guy apologized telling me that even though he let me in with it on Saturday and with my saber one on Sunday they had an updated list since Monday morning that no longer allows them. You can’t even bring in the wooden wasters.  >:(

Sir Edward:

So they've decided to crack down on them now, eh? Grrrrr.

Better to find out now, than after hacking up another sword.

Sir James A:
Ugh! And I have been looking for a good cheapie to cut up for this year. Must be part of the "new direction"? Sigh.

Sir William:
DAMMIT!!!  DAMMIT!!!  DAMMIT!!!  Ugggghhhhh....

I'm still going to have a go at it.  Well...I'm out a sword that cost me $30 (even though it was better than my wife's Hanwei singlehand practical, which cost me $90) and about $100 worth of leatherwork but ah well...what're you gonna do right?  So much for my Faire prettie...

I tested out their security policies myself, Sir Edward. I'll just have to buy the damn place I guess. Then all will be right in the medieval world. :)
