I'd have to go with kettle helm. The brim keeps the sun out of my eyes and protect me from the sunburn. Second fave would prolly be the transitional helm as it's a crusader favourite.

I like this helm for a generic raider kit I'm thinking of putting together.



Barring that, I'll settle for a well-fitted barrel helm like this one (which I had and let go, like a DA).

Hey, I'm always a fan of the great helms!

Ditto. I am partial to the Pembridge style as it is what I mostly wear. But I also second the great helms. If I were to pick a later century style....I would choose an armet style.
