Some people have far too much talent  ::)

Joking aside, really nice work Sir James, I can`t wait to see it all set up in your tent.

You could easily sell these type of items of camp furniture at medieval fairs.
I wish you lived closer to me, I would have no hesitation in comissioning some items from you.

I got some pictures of the outside area, but never thought to take shots inside the tent, unfortunately. Doh!

BTW, sorry I darted out so quickly, Sir James, after we got back. It occurred to me that I still had that unloading to do, would probably be getting home at the same time as Kat, and could potentially take her out to dinner and still have some time to relax.

No problem at all. We ended up turning around and leaving a short while later, right after unloading most of the stuff, since we found out Chris had to get home for Behind the Wheel the next day, so we had to go to Gilberts Corner and back. My trip was done at that point, and as you said, you still had an hour to go, plus the unloading.

BTW, during unloading I discovered your pitcher in the back of the truck. Haven't found anything else ... no Albions at all ... none, I say. ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot I threw the pitcher back there. I haven't fully unpacked everything yet, and couldn't remember where I put it. Problem solved.

There better not be any Albions. :)

Hey, Sir James...so I'll be over say, Saturday?  To check out the back of that truck that does NOT have any Albions.  ;)

Right, *no* albions in the truck. They're in my cabinet. I know I haven't bought any, but let's ignore that fact.... :D

I finally got around to unpacking the furniture and getting it stored. Aside from the top of the dining table and legs, it all (dining table crossbraces, pair of 3' tables, pair of 4' tables, rope bed, slat bed, pair of 6' benches, pair of 18" benches) fits nicely on the "shelf" that I added in the shed:

Kinda surprised it fit so well. :)

Wow, that packs away really nicely. Awesome! How are you packing up the tent? I know yours probably takes up a lot less space than mine does.

The furniture fit better than I thought it would. It was a nice surprise.

Right now, the tent canvas is in the box it came in. The fly, stakes, ropes, etc are in one of the wooden chests. I'm not quite sure how to store the tent itself - it's too big for even the biggest chest, since it's a single piece. I don't want to put it in the shed, for fear of mice. I'm considering building a wooden storage container for it. I wish the canvas was separate pieces like yours.

Here's some pics of my new tent chair. Works good during off-season too in front of TV. :)

I don't see the pics either. :(

Glad somebody bumped this - I forgot to update that when I put everything in the shed and it fit so wonderfully, I neglected to notice that the eight 4x4 posts for the beds were packed inside one of the chests. It stores well, but not quite as compact as I thought it did. :-[

Period furniture reall does make a pavilion that much more of a realistic and "homey' environment. Great job, Sir James!
