"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

I like your soft kit Sir Brian, reminds me of Beckett a bit from Ironclad.

I liked that character...a rogue with a sense of loyalty nonetheless.  He was also Hades' henchman in Clash of the Titans, formerly known as Acrisius.

Well I picked up two new pairs of 14th Century Braies from my seamstress Sallie Jones. I gave her my poorly repaired originals from Revival Clothing as a sample along with 1.5 yards of pre-washed 100% black linen and she made some improvements, such as triple-stitched and additional fabric reinforced seams along the crotch. I haven’t tried them on yet but they look actually better than the originals.

I suggested she should keep the pattern in case someone else wanted to have her make a set. She is just charging $25.00 a pair with fabric or $25.00 + plus the cost of the fabric. Anyone interested please PM me and I’ll relay her contact information.

Btw, she labeled her pattern ‘Medieval Shorts’.   ;)

Awesome. :)

Depending how poorly or well my dying attempt goes with mine, I may need a pair or two.
