Hello all, I registered a while back (thanks for the activation!), but haven't really had a lot of time until now to introduce myself. In the SCA, I am known as Bernardo Confalonieri, a lot of friends call me Berr or Bernarr, but my real name is Chris. I actually came across this forum looking for some gear and ended up spending a lot of hours over a few days browsing through the various posts. I ended up ordering my new "show shield" from Oakheart due to a post here about their shields. It's being shipped out today, too!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting more involved!

Welcome to the site; if you got a Oakheart Armory shield, chances are it was my posts (or Leganoth, he just got one from them)- I extolled them early on for their affordability.  In fact, I just got a new one from them as well, I need to take pics and post.  Welcome to the site, you'll find we're a congenial bunch- mature too.  Mostly.  ;)
