Yessss!!!!    8)

Now I just need to find a way to get all the folks at the renn faire to call me that...... ???

Don't worry, if they see you often enough in the same colors, that's how they naturally come to know you. Sir Brian is "that green knight" and I'm often "that blue and white knight".

Sir Nathan, this means you'll have to attend more often so they remember you!  I'll need to as well...I get nothing but strange looks, like I'm wearing the wrong sort of clothing.  lol

You could always try this place. I just submitted mine so I don't know if it will be accepted or how long it takes to be added to the roster but it is suppose to be free.  :-\

http://usheraldicregistry.com/

I'm still waiting to hear back on my submission to these folks. I submitted mine right after you, I think. The registration is free, and there's an affordable charge if you want a certificate of it drawn up. I'll probably do so if they accept mine.

I just looked at this one too:

http://www.americancollegeofheraldry.org/

They're more expensive. $325 to register, but that includes the professional drawing and certificates.

Well according to the website it can take up to three weeks to be reviewed.

I submitted mine just prior to making that post so I've got about ten days or so to wait for an answer.  :-\

I don't know if you've ever seen this guy's CoA. His lions are rampant though.

You know, I just realized, the heraldry already has a minor difference. The lions are "Rampant" in that dude's shield. Sir James has them "Statant".

don't make me slap you with the gauntlet young knight ;)

Lol, sorry  ;D  I mean, in blazon, we do both have the same main colors, and I needed 3 knights to round that list off...

And I will keep an eye out for any ill-tempered livestock wielding gauntlets   ;)

I noticed that to and I am curious if Allan's wife realized that since she will be painting Sir James' shield?  ???

James, the Mrs. said $125 for yours as she has the rampant lion tracing stecils she made for another one already, William she'd like $150.00 for yours.

Ah, good catch indeed! I glossed over that somehow. It's been a crazy stressful and busy week.

Allan, I have a super high-resolution image of the lion statant I could send you, that should be full size when she prints it, that I think would make a good stencil. It's what I was going to use, but anything I've painted looks like a 3 year old with finger paints did it so I'm not going to attempt painting it myself and ruining a nice shield. :)

No I haven't and I haven't noticed if I've been added to the accepted listing yet.

Perhaps it is time to drop them a 'WTF' email?  ???
