MASHS Freeplay Sunday April 22
Sir Brian:
Monthly reminder that this coming Sunday will be a free play Sunday for MASHS @ the Pip Moyer recreation center in Annapolis from 2:30 PM until 4:30 PM with a floor fee of only $10.00!

Looks like I'm not making it tomorrow after all. My lady has a kidney stone again.

Most understandable! Please convey my sympathies to thy lady and hope she may pass the stone quickly.

It turns out I ended up with a pretty good headache today, so it's just as well I stayed home.

I didn't really have a very good day myself. We had a historic society group visit us which was cool. Larry basically put on a demonstration for them of all the weapon types he teaches and asked me to be his demonstration partner for the Longsword, Dueling Epee and Sabre. Everything went fine until we got to the sabre and my blade snapped after a particularly lively exchange! It was a Christmas present from my wife and it didn't last five months! >:(
- Larry suggested I inquire from Darkwood Armory about one of their practice Italian blades which run about $150.00 but should last a LOT longer. Larry's Darkwood Armory blade just recently snapped right at the tang a couple of weeks ago and last Wednesday he had the new replacement...in fact it was the one that snapped my blade! ;)
