Yeah, you might be pretty happy with their blades. I hear they're pretty resilient.

Do you know what brand your sabre was? The fencing blades (foil, epee, saber) don't last forever, that's for sure. I think I've only broken one once, so I was lucky. Usually you can buy replacement blades and just unscrew the hilt and screw it together on the new one. It might just require cutting the tang to fit.

Sir Brian:
It was a Hanwei Pecoraro Sabre from KOA, which looks like the raised their prices on them a little bit or the sale is over because they were just under a $100 when my wife purchased mine.  :-\

Sir Edward:

Ah, I see. The description on KoA says this: "Replacement blades are available"

It looks like the blades are $62.95:

But Sir Edward Darkwood Armory has the CURVED sabre blades!  ;)
