sale at viking leather

Sir James A:
Perfect timing, I was just thinking it's time to do some foot wear. I'm thinking laced for armor, buckled for soft kit - plus for the armor, I'll be poking holes to point the armor at the toes, and they'd look silly in soft kit with unused holes at my toes, so I'll need two pair.

Soft kit - http://www.vikingleathercrafts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42_67&products_id=375 (Triple Buckled 14th Century Ankle Boot - Black)
Armor (under sabatons / chausses) - http://www.vikingleathercrafts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=42_53&products_id=245 (14th Century Medieval Styled Laced Ankle Boot - Black)

I want to get them with a small 'heel' so I can wear spurs and/or strap the chausses underneath, rather than a flat sole. I emailed to see what they say, but since it's a limited time sale and I'm not sure if I'll hear back in time, if anyone knows if it's possible and/or what the extra cost is, please let me know.

Sir Brian:
Well they wore well yesterday but I was missing some the arch support at the end of the day as my feet had become a bit fatigued. Still they sell the insoles with arch support and those should resolve that minor issue.  :)

Sir Edward:

Yeah, I hadn't gotten around to adding the insoles to mine yet either, which I need to tighten up the shoe more than anything (slightly narrow feet compared to the length). Otherwise they worked admirably. I'm tempted to order a second pair, in brown, so I can have more than one color option.

Sir William:
I wear a 9 1/2 but figured with the gel insert, a 10 ought to do nicely; can't wait for it to get here!

Sir Wolf:
i ended up not ordering a pair. i want a pair, i need a pair, its jsut hard for my to buy things when i can make them... even though i got no ambition to make it ehhe
