On the average faire day for me I am wearing my harness a minimum of seven hours. Sometimes even longer. I will typically have almost all of it on for the ride to the faire and sometimes will not remove it until I get back home (if it's MDRF) or back to the hotel which is sometimes a 30 minute ride. ;)

Merc, this is good advice...it won't matter how pretty your armor looks if your clothing underneath isn't up to par.
