My planned "Soft" Kit (clothing) - opinions / feedback

(1/7) > >>

Sir James A:
It's time to put together a soft kit, just in case my hard kit isn't ready in time for the potential knightings at VARF. Here's what I have planned:

Main:
Medieval Swordsman Shirt (natural)

Medieval Vest (brown)

Double Lined Medieval Ring Belt (black w/steel)

Leather vambraces (brown)

Medieval Pants (black)

Warrior Boots (brown)

Extras:
Medieval Hooded Cape (black)

Small Knights Pouch (black)

Thoughts? Opinions? Any feedback is appreciated, constructive criticism included. :)

Thorsteinn:
Time period, place, occupation?

For example, my personae will soon be that of a late 8th Century Pre-Christian Scandiavian Rus traveling the Volga from Uppsala to Constantinople & Baghdad. (As opposed to the same thing but in the 11th Cen)

-Ivan

Sir Wolf:
kewl get up. looks like it would go well together.

Nothing specific, just for general renn fest or other outings. Generi-celt, except, generi-medieval-ish, is the best I can say. I'm going for something similar to, but not exactly, the "florentine noble" attire from Assassin's Creed 2:

Thorsteinn:
OK. Why not just do say... 1495-1505 Venitian Noble?
