I'd literally kill to live in a place like this. Main reason I want to move to Europe, the other being I don't see a good future for America at the moment.

I do envy the Europeans for their easy access to castles. I mean, castles are literally everywhere over there.

Yeah, the future is a bit uncertain over here in the US. But then again, all the more reason for men (and women) of good character to stand firm. If at the end of the day you can still stand tall, even with the world crumbling around you, then I think that is very knightly.

Despite myself I liked that movie...wonder what that says about me- toss the actors in mail and plate and you got me!  Plus the love interest was a hottie. 

I also like A Knight's Tale, even with the rock soundtrack.

It doesn't have to be historically accurate to be good or enjoyable. I especially like Van Helsing, which is one of those "plausible but excessively unlikely" movies ... but seriously, who DOESN'T want a repeating crossbow? And as you said with Black Knight, in Van Helsing, the love interest is a hottie too.

Wait a minute. I'm sensing a hollywood pattern here....

Pardon me, I'm headed back to the library of the castle posted above. :)

I liked Van Helsing as well...and agreed.  She's even hotter wielding a sword as in Underworld (but, imho, Rhona Mitra KILLED as Sonya)!!!
