THACO

THACO (The Armored Combat Outing) was an SCA event held Saturday, April 23rd 2011 in Nordskogen, Northshield (St. Paul, MN).  Over thirty fighters attended the event even though it was held on the day before Easter!  Alas, only two members of the Mercenary Company Nevermore were able to attend, but we fought for 6 solid hours that day!  I am still very sore and a little bruised, boy did we have some fun!  My brother in arms, Moth, won the tournament and was declared the champion!  I will post the video and pictures as soon as Moth can download and send them to me.

Boy, I'm dating myself with this one... I was wondering why there was a thread about "to hit armor class zero". :)

The D&D character sheets went flying by my head before reading the post, too.

Sounds like you had a great time, Rodney. Congrats to your brother in arms.

Yes, the local guys had a little fun naming the event. ;)
