I really like it. You don't see too many rapiers from that late a time period. I'm certain the pommel and grip are later additions (and the seller thinks so as well). I know its a composite piece, but I wonder if it was a composite piece in the 18th century, or if a later collector mishmashed pieces together. Its interesting to me either way.
