Liam Neeson is a complete bad-ass...I love watching that guy, he's intense when he plays action roles.  Ever since I saw him in Darkman.  I'd actually seen him in Excalibur, but didn't realize it was him til I saw it again like 15 years later.

He really does play those roles well. What's ironic is that he's terrible at theatrical sword fighting, so they have to do a lot of editing tricks to make him look competent in most films (such as in Star Wars). This actually worked to his advantage in Rob Roy, since he was supposed to look like the inferior swordsman.

Not so bad a thing to be terrible at theatrical sword fighting...who knows, maybe he'd be good at the real thing?
