Well then, we'll all be birds of a feather!  My intention is to make use of the same for my next surcoat!  I'm kidding....I can't even find the link and I have no idea of what it'll look like just yet.

Sir Brian, how's that silk one coming along?  Really am digging the idea of a silk surcoat or jupon.

Short story: It is progressing wonderfully!  ;)

Long Story:
Well Sir Edward's future sister-in-law graciously agreed to take on the work for which I am extremely grateful as she is an exceptionally skilled seamstress. As a bonus she assured me that she could do the accolades as well which was a part I was getting anxious about if I had to stencil them myself, especially considering how much would be invested into the surcoat by that time. I have no qualms about stenciling the charges onto my shield because I use a slow drying crème acrylic based paint that is fairly easy to take off and reapply if I happen to screw up. You don’t have the luxury of a “do over” when you are working with fabric paints. I actually messed up a little on one of my griffon charges on my current surcoat. So, I will be dropping the fabric and stencils off to her this Saturday at the fair and she will take the measurements she’ll need of me in my armor at that time.  :)
