why do I love these things so much yet I don't have one.

there are several style out there but i don't know of any historical ones (besides in paintings and manuscripts.) does anyone else?

i love these 2 types, the extra flair on them really set them par above the rest... but so does the price tag :)

Those look very sweet, but I would still prefer them with brass accents, but that's just me.  ;)
