degreaser

anyone know of a good degreaser for mail?  my rings are covered in black oil (the new ones i added to my shirt) and i just can't seem to get it off.

Good question. When I had bought some heavily greased mail, what I tried was using a large bucket, and poured in enough mineral spirits to submerge the mail, and worked it around quite a bit with paper towels and the like. It got most of it, as I recall.
