Ditching the sabatons was a huge help to mobility. I'm not sure why I keep fighting in them, and I just got the whole leg harness a week or two before LP, had never worn them, and just got the arming points for them raised the night before LP too. The little lock-nub didn't do so well on the sabatons, but worked beautifully on the greaves. The cuisses are slightly too tall, or I need to move the points higher. Bill said I looked kinda "clown like" with the sabatons and commented how much better I seemed to move once they were off.

What I find amusing about the videos is how "nonchalant" we appear to be. In the armor, it felt quite violent and tiring. But from the outside, it's like we just calmly walk up and stick the weapon into the other guy. Heh. :)

That killed me when I saw it. I know I was tired after a bit, but wow, you can really tell. At least we stayed true to "stick em with the pointy end".
