"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

Arthur's Armory

http://arthursarmory.com/

It looks like this is a web shop that's just getting started, and they're emailing a bunch of people in the historical community to get the word out, but it's not just form-letter spam, thankfully. Here's the message he sent me:

Quote
Ed, Love the site. Thanks for the amazing resources and help you provide to people interested in weapons and history. Do you really own all the swords you write about? That is awesome. I am very passionate about the Medieval history and the Middle Ages and own my own online medieval blog and store to help SCA Dagohir participants and medieval history buffs at ArthursArmory.com. I thought your members might appreciate my offerings and the attention to detail I put into everyone of our on site blog posts about medieval history and weaponry and would love to be listed on your site if you enjoy the content. If my site is not something you believe your audience would enjoy I completely understand. Thanks for your time. Cheers, Matt Ward

Hmm...for the modern knight.  They should've asked Sir Ed to do their Excalibur photoshop- theirs looks so amateurish!  I'll keep an eye on this site...you never know.

Hi All,

Looking over the site I was wondering does anybody see a real good deal on a good first sword?

Thanks

Does he make anything of his own?? Looks like he is just reselling products from other vendors at similar prices. I'll give it time and see if he expands his options any.
