Do you have any suggestions to modify my existing belts into something more period? I mean I lack a chape and the "box thing" next to the buckle and I would like to make my belts more period with that extra stuff. Dont feel like getting new belts just yet would rather modify my existing ones.

Chape and box thing (buckle mount / buckle retainer) can be bought and added easily.
