Oval shield size question.

I'm looking at buying one of the #5 Ovals from Windrose and I was wondering how one would size such a thing for the self? Is there a way to draw out one at home to experiment?


I will be getting either the oval or a round shield (which I already know should be about 28"-29" for me).
