"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

AWESOME!  :)

Gareyth, if you don't mind my asking, will it be you and your wife or are your daughters going as well? – The more the merrier says me, but I'm just trying to keep tabs on the amount of chairs I had reserved so I can increase the amount if needed to ensure we all stay together! :)

Sir Brian - thanks for asking.  This will be our "Valentine's Day" outing, methinks so the girls will sit this one out.  We thought perhaps they could come to the next event if e could make this a bi-annual gather :)

BTW, is it usual for kids to come with the family for dinner at MM?

Looking ahead, Maruska and I were talking about while it's still cold out to having folks here for a cookout/appropriately themed gaming night (i.e., War of the Ring or Shadows Over Camelot).  Perhaps we can talk about it Sat evening...

I don't remember if there were kids last time I went or not, but the show struck me as being very family-friendly.

So what is our final head count and attendance list? This is going to be fun!

Something my wife was suggesting was the idea of meeting up in front of the Hard Times Cafe right at 6:30, so we can walk over and "wow" them as a group. It's about 2 blocks away, on the other side of the same street.

Well if Sir Nathan's friend joins us that will be exactly 16 in our group. If my wife's friend shows up then it will be 17 and if her boyfriend can make it a solid 18!  :)

Meeting at the Hard Times Cafe sounds like a great idea however I suggest we meet there at 6:15 so we can walk the two blocks and be there right at 6:30 when they open. I need to drop something off at the kitchen anyways. ;)
