I have answered your P.M. with a couple of suggestions.

Do you know what armorer made your harness/piece of armor ?
Most tend to use steel or copper to be honest.

A good rummage through the bay of E`s shows some results at reasonable prices for small quantities.

As for the armorer, not a clue! It all started with a late night ebay session... as do most of the more interesting things!

Had a rummage through ebay, but they are all pretty small, nothing in the size I'm looking for - will try Lancaster as suggested :)
