Lets see, I gotta send my maille to get tailored, I gotta clean and figure out how to suspend my maille chausses, get new boots, get my spear finished and get a new surcoat for my coat of arms I got.

My linen should arrive today so I should be able to work ony pourpoint when I get home next weekend.  (I'm only home Friday night through Sunday afternoon for the next while, thanks Navy)

Once that's done I hope to commission a new breastplate with fauld, and I'm considering donating a kidney for a nice plaque belt.

I fight in the SCA. I always have a project.

Likewise with re-enactment, there is always something that needs repair or improving upon  ;)

I don't know what the Gods of Heraldry say about it, but I like the look of 1/3 2/3 split instead of half and half.

after months of procrastination,
I'm finally getting back to my FUBAR of a first attempt of a gambeson, making a cappa clausa/robe/surcoat/habit thingy, and trying desperately to get my kit at least somewhat presentable for this coming saturday to make a good first impression with the local duchy of the Adrian Empire :D

BTW Sir Wolf, I'd glady take that pot helm off your hands :D looks really good from where I'm sitting.

Isn't that always the case? When and if we ever find our camera I'll have to post up my projects as well.  But Sir Wolf, your banner pole looks fine!  I'm looking forward to seeing what your helmet looks like, I do like em painted up.

I think my banner will be on my spear for a while.

Right now my biggest project is just to unpack everything and display some of my swords again.

No portable hole? Did you look in your bag of infinite holding?

Or make one...

lol i thought about buying some square stock and making my own. but what i did was just as good. i took a garden spike nail (the kind used to hold the wooden rail ties) and cut the head off. then drilled the bottom of the pole and filled it full of glue. then pounded the spike in the hole. WALLA it now can stand in the yard with no issues of falling over
