anyone have any luck with changing out their thermostats? we had to get a new one and my new one doesn't have the same markings as my old one. i gather the g to g and r to r but there is a y1, w1, w2 wire coming from the wall as well but no spots for them. just y, aux, o and b. and no space for my c wire from the wall

Huh. I've only changed mine out once, when I first got the house. I bought a digital thermostat. But when I hooked that one up, everything matched.

I'm assuming you have a heat-pump? Does the thermostat support that?

Good luck, when I did mine I did it wrong at first and the heat pump and AC were running against each other at all times.
