Well the closed retention pin works almost a little too well but still acceptable. The opened retention pin is still too difficult to push in so I may add another rivet midway between the pin and mounting post for an actuator.  :-\

Unfortunately no, it would have made working on it much easier if it was!  ;)

Oh, got you.  Well, I'd still like to take a look at it...altho eventually I'll end up with a bascinet with a removable so I can use different 'faces' with it.
