hand held ballista/ for fun and SCA
« on: 2013-03-27, 12:25:35 »
Hope this is appropriate for here. This is something (hand held ballista) that my friend and I made in high school, in shop; it is really fun and can be used at SCA events if approved. Enjoy!
Ps; I know most people do not have a mill-machine.

It can also help in those looking to make their own bi-plane. LOL

Cool! I saw it on Deadliest Warrior and thought, that'd be fun to make.

When I was 14, and they still allowed Light Fighters in the SCA, I had a bang up time at West/An-Tir War firing a Rock Balista. Even killed Duke Hauoc with a shot to the eyes from 100+ yds.

I also proved An-Tiran Archers couldn't hit a dancing man from 50 yds.

Anyone else now want to go out and build siege weaponry?

Who are you trying to fool Sir Wolf? - With you living out in the marches of WV I'm sure siege weaponry is considered a part of rudimentary home security!  :o  ;)
