It sounds like world-transfers will be free at first, and then later restricted to once per week and have a gem cost.

I'm now thinking I'm going to be a Warrior on my main. It looks more DPSy and less Tanky than WoW's equivalent. I tend to like very offensive DPS builds. Point me at the enemy, turn me loose.

I think I'm going to roll a ranger, but the guardian is also intriguing to me.  I like how abilities work together, for example the elementalist can drop a wall of flame and when the ranger shoots through it the arrows light on fire and deal more damage. I think that's such a cool feature.

I anticipate starting on Saturday during the 'headstart'. It doesn't seem like servers are broken in to different flavors like pvp or pve so I guess all we need to do is pick the server that has a cool name!

Make sure you run the launcher now and then as they've been rolling out files every so often.

I might be able to roll my characters on Saturday, but I'll be busy all weekend and won't get to really play til Monday night, I suspect. So much for my headstart.

Odd that the game's forums are down except during the tests. Most games I've gotten into have had a strong community on the official forums before the game gets released. It's usually after release that it degenerates into a useless quagmire.

So launch is in the middle of the night tonight.  I probably won't log on until tomorrow morning, but then again I'm flying late in the evening tonight, so when I get home I may take a peak   I think I will be rolling on the server 'Maguuma'.  I will let you know for certain when I get a look at the server list in game.
