It's settled guys. After discussion, we will be coming to MDRF on Saturday, Sept. 1. We'll be driving home Friday & stop at hotel close to faire so we can be there early. If you want to hit me up privately on here, I'll give you my number. :)

Look forward to it, Sir Edward. :) I will not be in armor so won't be as identifiable but will have my wife & eldest step-son w/ me. Renfaire garb is better for this humidity anyways. I'll be in armor Monday for KRF when I get home.

I'll be wearing a long-sleeved black tunic w/ gold & navy pattern trim w/ black pants, boots, black leather belt, and accessories. My step-son will be in all black & my wife will be wearing her light blue dress as seen in my knight page.

I have some similar tunics. If the weather is crazy-hot out there, I'll probably do the same. We'll just have to see (and IMHO a few days is still too early to tell on the weather report).

Same for me. If the heat & humidity is too much on Saturday then I'll just wear the kilt and perhaps go for armor on Sunday.

Supposed to be t-storms coming in on Sunday so you may not want to be in armor then, Sir Brian.  Of course, I should've done the necessary adjustments when I had the time (just not the impetus) so I'll be Sir Bingo Wing yet again.  Maybe.  lol

Yep, the plan is to be there Saturday and Sunday. I usually take a break on Monday for the holiday weekend, and just go the two days. Three days of faire in a row is a bit much, even for me.

So far the weather looks decent. Hot on Saturday, a little less-so on Sunday. They're calling for some rain on Monday, which has me slightly worried for Sunday, if the time-frame shifts.

Sir Edward, does the 'faire ownership' have a problem w/ taking pics in the parking area outside say for group photos with 'weapons'?? I would like to get some photos with you guys (as we should be...armed) LOL :)

Yeah, I don't think they'll notice, unless someone complains about people being dangerous with them. Sword-fighting in the parking lot would not be OK, for instance.
