You have etched characters or are you referring to the 'hose' wrapped around the rim of your shield?

Etched or edged ... hmm. I *think* it's edged, based on it being around the edge of the shield. If I had to etch around the edges of a shield, I'd charge way more than $4 for it. :)

I think he means 'edged' as well.  And that was what I was originally thinking, Sir James- that he got etching on the cheap!
