Armour and Castings / Battle Forge update
« on: 2011-06-15, 02:46:26 »
The reason Armour and Castings has stopped carrying armour is that some of their former craftsman split off and formed their own armour company called "Battle Forge".  The split is described as "different views on the future".

Here is the Armour Archive thread containing the information.
"Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say Ni at will to old ladies. There is a pestilence upon this land, nothing is sacred. Even those who arrange and design shrubberies are under considerable economic stress in this period in history." - Roger the Shrubber

Ah, neat. I was hoping their armor line would come back. I want one of their helms. :) This is good news, thanks for posting it!

Which helm, James?

Helms :D

The 1360 Pothelm w/brass trim (for my 14th kit)

The Sallet-Armet (for my MRL gothic - or possibly a basic sallet)

The 1480 Armet (it's the stereotypical "knight in shining armor" helmet, and my favorite style)
