Yes it certainly does Sir John! But I pace myself and stay hydrated as much as possible. It is only really bad when it gets into the high 80’s or more and high humidity. Then it becomes a mental battle of endurance because your body is working so hard to keep your brain and core cool. I try my best to remember that there was no real relief for knights back in the day and I also consider our service men and women having to endure such grueling heat in combat gear.  :-\

I do all of that as well, but stop short of soiling myself (or my armor and smallclothes lol).  It can get hot but I think of it similarly...the knights of old did not enjoy air conditioning or numerous hydration sources...tepid water or wine and lots of sweat, eh?
