Got around to taking a few pics of my recent activities.
The gonfalon, from Cillene @ AA (I need a medieval couch; project for a later time):
The assembled bookshelf. Only $29 at Wal-Mart, not exactly high quality by any means, but it's a dark colored faux wood, which is what I wanted. It has my dragon bookends (for when I have a bigger collection and bigger bookshelf), digital photo frame (loaded with approx 1,200 pics of armor
), japanese sword cleaning and sharpening kits, archery bits, and my japanese/medieval european books collection.
(The mirror and skull are still awaiting their new position)
I bought all of the artwork unframed, and then bought the frames and framed them. It was very relaxing, I was pleasantly surprised. The artwork:
(The others are in 10 more pics, click here:
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t8/jba3/medieval/Artwork/The above is 20 pictures at 11x17; I went with a mix of woodcuts, armor illustrations, knights and castles. They will be placed throughout the house, but I'm still working out where to put each of them.
In the album are the rest of them; a few more 11x17, some 13x19s, a pair of 24x36s, and a 24x32. You absolutely CANNOT have a collection of artwork without having "The Accolade" and "The Vigil".
I'll post a complete list later of the names of the photos, if anyone is interested.
